With this Adobe Photoshop Tutorial, you will be taught how to create a professional web header for a company, business, or any other website. Shown below is a preview of the final result:

To start out using your Rectangular Marquee Tool draw out a rectangle (This will be the size of your header so make it a size you like).

Now go to blending options and apply these settings:

You should now have something like this:

Now make a new layer, Ctrl-click your first layer. Now on your new layer fill the selection. Now go to blending options and apply these settings.

Now you should have something like this:

Now pen tool out a design like this:

Then apply a white + transparent gradient to it.

Now you should have something like this:

Now Duplicate the layer and flip it vertically so now you should have something like this:
